ACCBC successfully implemented the following strategies to help preventing the spread of the virus

  • Restrictive access: Since Feb 2020, visitor registration process is in place across the sites inclusive of temperature screening. Entry restrictions for non-essential visitors to the sites inclusive of truck drivers were implemented.
  • Medical condition review: Temperature screening for staff at the factory/office as well as at the accommodation. Till date – records maintained as a back-up indicator and incident tracking tool.
  • WFH Policy: Initiated work from home policy to maintain social distancing and load – 30% capacity or less.
  • Authorities involvement: Worked directly with the authorities to manage situations inclusive of isolation, review of quarantine, and release from quarantine.
  • Hospital Admission: None of our Covid +ve direct factory personnel been admitted to hospital.
  • Accommodations: Company accommodations across all factories (including UAE & KSA) have been approved by authorities for isolation, quarantine and release.
  • Contacts tracking: ACCBC used the strategy of tracking of all probable contacts via documentation, records and traceability reviews to individually quarantine. It helped ACCBC to manage the spread and cross- contaminations. As a result there has no sudden influx of the number of positive cases across the business.
  • Covid-19+ve statistics: There has been 97% reduction in overall Covid-19 positive cases across the business.
  • Weekly updates :Regular weekly updates were provided to industry suppliers & shareholders
  • Return to work: A return to work policy & procedure has been developed and will be initiated over the coming weeks for those who are working from home.
